An International Start to Runball Rally 2026

After months of preparation, Runball Rally 2026 officially began in the beautiful city of Prague. Participants from Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Curaçao and several other countries gathered at the luxurious Mandarin Oriental Prague for the opening day of this year’s adventure.

For many teams, it was the first opportunity to meet fellow participants in person. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as drivers and co-drivers arrived throughout the day, eager to see the impressive collection of sports cars and supercars and begin the journey ahead.

Checking In at the Runball Gift Suite

One of the first stops for every participant was the Runball Gift Suite. Here, teams completed their registration and received everything they needed for the week ahead.

Each participant received a welcome package packed with rally essentials, including personalized team T-shirts, event bracelets, route books, participant credentials and a selection of gifts from our partners and sponsors. As always, seeing participants discover their personalized items and official rally gear was one of the highlights of the day.

A Warm Welcome in Prague

Once everyone had settled in, participants were invited to enjoy a welcome reception hosted by Mr. Runball himself. The Runballers were welcomed with drinks and a selection of delicious culinary bites while catching up with past participants and getting to know new faces.

The reception created the perfect setting for participants from different countries and backgrounds to connect through a shared passion for travel, adventure and exceptional cars.

The Team Briefing

Before the rally could officially begin, it was time for the team briefing. During the session, participants received important information about the route, daily schedules, logistics and safety procedures.

With route books in hand and the first driving day approaching, excitement in the air continued to build. The reality that the adventure was finally about to begin started to sink in for many teams.

An Evening to Remember

The opening day concluded with the Drivers Dinner, hosted in the elegant surroundings of the Mandarin Oriental Prague. Participants enjoyed a fantastic dinner while sharing stories, discussing their plans for the week and admiring the incredible lineup of vehicles that would soon be crossing Europe together.

It was the perfect start to what would become an unforgettable journey through some of Europe’s most spectacular roads and destinations.

Ready for the Road

Day 1 was all about bringing people together. New friendships were formed, familiar faces reunited and the anticipation for the days ahead could be felt throughout the hotel.

With the preparations complete and the teams ready to go, Prague marked the beginning of another extraordinary Runball Rally adventure.
