COVID-19 | Travel Guide

Germany

You must be able to present a vaccination certificate, recovery certificate or a negative PCR test (not older than 72 hours) or negative antigen test (not older than 48 hours).

These rules do not apply to a transit.

Belgium

No test is required for stays of less than 48 hours.

The Netherlands

This is possible without vaccination certificate, PCR test or recovery certificate.

Czechia

  • Proof of vaccination, valid at the following conditions:
    • 14 days after the second dose, or 14 days after the jab if the vaccine is administered in a single dose (Janssen/Johnson&Johnson);
  • Proof of recovery from COVID-19, valid 180 days;
  • Negative result to a COVID-19 test.
    Both PCR and Rapid Antigen tests are accepted.
    Validity: 72 hours for PCR tests, 48 hours for RAT tests

Austria

People who transit Austria without a stopover, which also applies to exclusively indispensable interruptions – provided that a departure is ensured, do not need to register via the pre-travel-clearance form and do not need to provide a negative test result, proof of vaccination or recovery from COVID-19. 

 

  • Proof of vaccination, valid at the following conditions:
    • 14 days after the second dose, or 22 days after the jab if the vaccine is administered in a single dose (Janssen/Johnson&Johnson);
  • Proof of recovery from COVID-19, valid 180 days;
  • Negative result to a COVID-19 test.
    Both PCR and Rapid Antigen tests are accepted.
    Validity: 72 hours for PCR tests, 48 hours for RAT tests

Hungary

Regardless of the passenger’s citizenship, the restrictions do not apply to travellers:

  • Holding an EU Digital COVID certificate;
  • Recovered from COVID-19 in the last 6 months from the date of entry;
  • Holding a Hungarian immunity certificate and their accompanying minor children (only if they travel together);
  • Holding an immunity certificate that is recognised by Hungary based on unilateral/bilateral agreements (see the list of these country), and their accompanying minor children (only if they travel together);
  • Arriving to Hungary through land borders from Croatia, Austria, Romania, Slovakia, and Slovenia, excluding the case of entry by civil aircraft;

Croatia

Travelers must be able to present a vaccination certificate, recovery certificate, negative PCR test (not older than 72 hours) or antigen rapid test (not older than 48 hours).
Travelers vaccinated with a first dose of Pfizer or Moderna can enter Croatia from day 22 to day 42 after the first dose.
Travelers vaccinated with a first dose of AstraZeneca can enter Croatia from day 22 to day 84 after the first dose.
In addition, travelers can choose to undergo a corona test (at their own expense) in Croatia. They must then remain in quarantine until the result is negative.

Montenegro

There are no entry restrictions.

KOSOVO

Travelers passing through Kosovo by car or plane must leave Kosovar territory within 3 hours.

 

  • Proof of vaccination, valid at the following conditions:
    • 14 days after the second dose, or 22 days after the jab if the vaccine is administered in a single dose (Janssen/Johnson&Johnson);
  • Proof of recovery from COVID-19, valid 180 days;
  • Negative result to a COVID-19 test.
    Both PCR and Rapid Antigen tests are accepted.
    Validity: 72 hours for PCR tests, 48 hours for RAT tests

North Macedonia

The North Macedonian government recognizes the corona proof (Digital Corona Certificate – DCC)

 

From September 1, 2021
You can travel to North Macedonia with your corona certificate (DCC) if you:
Are fully vaccinated and have proof of this, or;
Have a negative PCR test not older than 72 hours on arrival in North Macedonia, or;
A proof of recovery from corona
You do not need to be in quarantine.
Transit travelers who leave North Macedonia within 5 hours are excluded from this.

Greece

Travelers must be in possession of a certificate (written in English) of a negative PCR test (not older than 72 hours) or antigen test (not older than 48 hours). A vaccination certificate or recovery certificate is also sufficient.
In addition, travelers must complete the Passenger Locator Form at least 24 hours before their arrival in Greece.

 

RETURN TO HOME

 

To Belgium

If travelers stay in Greece for more than 48 hours, they must also complete the Belgian version of the Passenger Localization Form (PLF) before returning to Belgium.

 

To Switzerland

To The Netherlands

If you travel back to the Netherlands, you must be able to show a corona certificate (vaccination certificate, negative test certificate or proof of recovery).
Use the checklist for (return) trips to the Netherlands for your preparation.
If you travel by plane, you must complete a health declaration and keep it with you.

 

To the United Kingdom

Greece is on the amber list for entering England. Check what you must do to enter England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland.
